It’s a very frustrating task to photograph a bee. No cooperation whatsoever. It buzzes from flower to flower like it’s getting paid! By the time you focus in — it’s gone.
This scenario is very reminiscent of my own thoughts at times. Just as soon as I zero in, another thought elbows its way in. I really never know where my mind is going to land next.
Our minds can be busy as a bee, but remember the old adage, “Take time to stop and smell the flowers.”
I guess bees are very lucky. The flowers are their work. The lesson here for us? Perhaps to turn our work into flowers. This would require a shift in perspective. That shift would turn the mundane into something very beautiful indeed.
